I love me some denim shorts!!! I am dreading having to stop wearing my shorts. Winter is approaching & the idea just freaks me out. I don't like being cold at all. I like the overall casual cool look of today's outfit. I haven't worn these shoes since the beginning of this year!!!

The PERFECT Date-Night Dress

ZIPCODE sent me this lovely dress, & from the moment I saw it all I could think about was going on a romantic date night with a special someone ;) wearing this dress. I love that it is sexy, but feminine & classy. It's flirty & young, & I just love it! And now I know you are totally intrigued about my date night...well I'm not telling ;) lol

I'm leaving for China next week & there is so much to do before then. I keep thinking what I am going to pack, & although I will be working really hard the entire time I am there, I am so taking this dress with me. Hopefully I will get to wear it again to a dinner or something. Hey! I can totally just prance around the hotel room in it :) It makes me feel good. I like it when an item of clothing does that for me. Like when you're having a bad day & you put your favorite shoes on. That feeling. I like it!

I couldn't help but team them up with more golden treasures from within my closet - gold jeans from RE: & this fabulous statement necklace I purchased while walking the streets of Hong Kong. This dress is the star of today's outfit post!! I love the combination of lilac & peach in this color block dress & I actually think it compliments my skin tone quite well :) I decided on neutral accessories as the dress is the focus of the look, but I couldn't resist my Rimmel lipstick "Firecracker".  It's been so hot & humid in Durban lately, this dress was such a savior as its so light & makes you instantly feel cool.

This dress is perfect for a casual date, picnic or a lunch / breakfast date on Valentines Day. The colors are on trend, & the silhouette is flattering.
