It's Monochrome Monday in case you didn't know! Today's look was actually worn on Saturday. I had a meeting at the office & went straight to lunch with my mom after so I looked very business-y lol. As we were at lunch just around the corner from this popular Durban spot I thought I'd get some outfit pictures. The Square is not a park, but there is grass, & it's just down the road from Mitchell Park here in Durban. It has the perfect view of Durban. You can see Moses Mabhida, Suncoast & the ocean. We enjoyed the view for a bit, then proceeded to go shopping :)

Fine jewels at Oro Bello Musgrave

Jewellery has never been my thing, but I have been so lucky to experience & see some of the cool goodies i have while being the Musgrave Centre Professional Shopper. I would have never walked into a jewelry store like Oro Bello, unless I was probably looking for a wedding ring, because that is probably the only real jewelry I will ever wear. Not only are the staff friendly & helpful, but the owners of the store are also very much involved in everything. They are obviously very passionate about their business & that really comes through when they speak about the different things that they offer in store, & it is what sets them apart from other jewelers.

Nomination bracelets allow you to create a unique bracelet that may symbolize a number or people, places & memories. You choose the links, so it is unique & special to you. Combinations are endless, & collecting new links is something that can last a lifetime. I think this a great gift for the special people you treasure in your life. Be it to say "I love you", or "Welcome home from a world tour", or a collection of their favorite things. You can say it all :)

This is the You-Cool collection from Nomination. These copper bracelets come in 10 different colors, which each have a different meaning, and are said to provide you with a burst of energy due to the real energy conducting of copper.

Accessory Haul: X Factor

Accessory haul from X Factor at Musgrave Centre! I just had to share with all you lovelies these super fab pieces that cost me no more than R80 a piece!! Yes Im telling the truth?! But it does sound kinda crazy when you see how cool they are.

I took the photos with the Calvin Klein ad campaign featuring Lara Stone as the backdrop. Lovely right?! The minimalism of Clavin Klein as a brand, & the black & white shots make for a great contrast.

Monochrome Monday #11

In my previous Monochrome Monday post - I will not be posting every week as I have done in the first 10 weeks of this project - it will be an ongoing but not consistent project going forward. So, in keeping with this inconsistency...I have done something different, my outfit post is layed on my floor rather than on my body lol.

What do you think? I made the houndstooth dress a few years back - still looks good right!?
