Durban fashion is taking a step in the right direction people! I attended a fashion show hosted by the KZN Fashion Council  last night & was so impressed by what I saw. The caliber of the show was at a level I have not previously seen in Durban.

This is the look I wore to the show - these photos were shot prior to the show.

When ZIPCODE sent me this skirt I wanted to wear it immediately - but then I knew I had this show this week, & figured this is a high impact look that will stand out so I kept it ready for this. I am loving the turban look as well - oh so chic right? I just had so much fun with this look - its kinda fun, but sexy & bad too. Get me?

Black on Gold

Last Thursday I got to attend the Your Highness fashion show that also featured Project Runway Season 9 winner Anya.  Work has been crazy busy, so I left straight from work & straight to the show, so that's why my hair isn't playing nice. I decided to go for a black on black look with gold accents. And before you say it... Yes I am wearing the H&M wedges again! Im sorry guys - I'm kinda obssessed with them :)

TOPSHOP Unique AW13

TOPSHOP Unique AW13 was the only show other than Rihanna for River Island that I was really excited about seeing at London Fashion Week (not that I was in attendance lol). And while I watched a video of the River Island show a day after it happened, I watched the Topshop Unique show as it happened. Thank heavens for live video streaming!

The show was absolutely AMAZING!!! The TATE Modern was the perfect setting. It was concrete everywhere., which of course complimented the brand�s renowned androgynous aesthetic and muted tones. Textures were contrasting; matte paired with gloss, shimmering sequins offset with fuzzy textures and raw edges next to bonded fabrics.
