Girls At Play.TV Photoshoot in Cape Town

While in Cape Town  I met with Tracy-Lee Rosslind, the uber creative stylist & art director behind Girls At Play.Tv. I was so excited to meet this lovely lady I have know over twitter, instagram, facebook etc & was even more pleased to see that she is even more dynamic in person! This shoot literally came together over night with this amazing bunch of creatives! And a special thanks to Jane of Portobello Road whose clothes I am wearing in this shoot. If you have never been to Portobello Road, I suggest you pay them a visit - I was pleasantly surprised by this CT gem (we don't have anything like this in Durban so it was such a lovely change for me).

What do you guys think of the shoot? These are just a few of my favorite shots. I actually think I am going to get a few of them printed & framed for my home :)

While in Cape Town I got to spend lots of time with my cousin Megan. After some time in town on the Friday I was in CT, we drove around for a bit & then decided on taking a few shots for the blog. This just seemed like a cool spot for some happy snaps :) What do you think?

GRAPHIC Lime.White.Black Print {OOTD} CT Day 3

This dress was meant for me from the second I found it! On my 3rd day in Cape Town we went to the Rose Bar at The Alphen in Constantia if I am correct. I simply have to go there in less windy conditions so that I can experience the awesome pool area.

Love me some ZARA!!!

It's only a few months to go until we have a few Zara stores opening here in South Africa, and can I just say that I am super excited! I have been loving Zara's clothes for a while now, & just the thought that I will have access to them here in my city ( Durban) is a dream. When I first saw the construction signs outside the mall ( Gateway Theatre of Shopping ) I go to, I was like what is that?! Previously, I had only heard of Cape Town & Johannesburg getting Zara stores, but luckily, Durban is too. They have apparently combined 2 or 3 smaller boutiques, and extended into the parking lot to make the new Zara store! Now can you see why I am soooo excited? It's going to be awesome!
